Welcome to SSP Radio. We will be presenting regular programmes taking on all the key issues. We will be talking about poverty, inequality and war and the socialist alternative provided by the Scottish Socialist Party.
In our first programme we present a recording of a meeting held by the Scottish Socialist Youth about the forthcoming meeting of the G8 in Scotland. The SSP will be joining the protests against the G8, a meeting of rich countries whose agenda is to spread neo-liberal globalisation around the world in the interests of western multinationals. The SSP is part of the G8 Alternatives mobilisation against the G8 meeting and will be organising a series of events as well as participating in the Make Poverty History march.
The meeting was held on Monday 8th April at the Augustine Church in Edinburgh.
