LEADING figures from the SNP, Scottish Socialists and Greens were due to hold talks today on the formation of a united front for Scottish independence.
SSP leader Tommy Sheridan said the independence convention was an excellent idea, and added: "The SSP are of course committed to an independent socialist republic for Scotland, but we are happy to co-operate with the people in the SNP and anyone else in developing a road map for independence."
